Even before December 18th, 2016 I've heard the question of, "Who is Rey?" and "Who are her parents?" Of course the obvious lean in theories is that she's a Skywalker, that seems to be to easy and out, and who's kid would she be? Not Han and Leia one of them would have said something when they met her. Luke was deep into Jedi training and reestablishing the Jedi Order, so it's doubtful that she is his daughter.
Are there any other families in the Star Wars universe that are strong with the Force? This one guy, Vincent Vendetta,has an amazing theory of who she is and why Rey was left on Jakku.
