Tim Burton and Disney are in final talks with Australian actress Mia Wasikowska to star in Alice in Wonderland, acording to The Hollywood Reporter.
Wasikowska started in the Aussie medical drama All Saints and became a regular on HBO's In Treatment. She's also in a few upcoming films including a WW2 thriller, Defiance with Daniel Craig and the Amelia Earhart story staring Hilary Swank.
Shooting is set to begin in November.
